Dilip is now half way through calculating the catalog value of all the stamps in the Scott International Volume One 1943 edition. (The link is to the right of this post.) Most interesting.
I'm having a few conversion issues with the images which I will clean up when Dilip is finished.
The famous stamp collector Josiah Lilly said that there were 100,000 postage stamps he wanted for his collection and he succeeded in acquiring 77,000. My considerably easier target is 35,000 of the more common stamps from 1840-1940 contained in the Scott Blue International Album Volume 1. This blog will record my progress, provide general information about Classic era philately and hopefully encourage other "Blue" collectors.

Note that Dilip Limaye has now completed his Excel based checklist of Jim Jackson's original checklist and has added the USA section to the complete Big Blue 1840-1940 A-Z countries' spreadsheets. Check for it on http://bigblue1840-1940.blogspot.com/ .
Any word from Dilip Limaye on the second part of the catalog value project?
albumfilling, I haven't heard anything. But I do know that Mr. Limaye has a job that involves lots of travel, so he has many things competing for his attention.
